DIRECTOR
Lilian Arnosky
Dance has always been a part of Lilian Arnosky’s life, as she has been dancing since the age of three. She danced competitively at studios in the Houston area and served as Captain of her dance team in high school. She earned her BA in Dance from the University of Houston, where she received the UH Dancer of the Year award and performed pre-professionally for the UH Ensemble and Young Audiences Touring Company. After graduation, she returned to her alma mater to teach dance and direct the Angels Dance Team at Stephen F. Austin High School in Fort Bend ISD. In 2016, she founded and directed the Emerald Elite Dance Team at Lebanon Trail High School in Frisco ISD. Mrs. Arnosky has an intensely competitive spirit and an equally strong passion for dance, and she is proud of the legacy and traditions that are being built with the Weiss Dance Program and Scarlets Dance Team. When Mrs. Arnosky isn't teaching dance, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two dogs, Sasha and Ruby.
Elise Padilla was born and raised in Austin, TX. She was a Trojan Belle for three years at Anderson High School. After graduating high school, Ms. Padilla attended Kilgore College where she was a Kilgore College Rangerette for two years on the 76th Line. During her time as a Rangerette, Ms. Padilla performed in The 90th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The 75th Pearl Harbor Commemoration, The Cotton Bowl, Texas State Fair, and Rangerette Revels. Ms. Padilla was also a member of Industry Dance Company, a pre-professional dance company at Kilgore College. After graduating from Kilgore with her Associates in Fine Arts, she attended Texas State University and graduated with the highest of honors in Dance Education. Ms. Padilla is so excited to be working with the Weiss Dance Department and Scarlets Dance Team during the 20-21 school year as the Assistant Dance Director!
