Holly Franklin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She was a dedicated member of the Cy-Fair High School Varsity Brigade for three years and trained at the well-known Athletistry Performing Arts Center, where she contributed to national championship-winning performances. After high school, Holly attended Texas State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education. During her time at Texas State, she was a member of the Orchesis Dance Company and performed in various productions, including the Advanced Choreography Showcase, the Student Dance Concert, and BFA thesis performances. Holly was also honored to represent the university at both the American College Dance Association and the Texas Dance Educators Association. Following graduation, Holly’s teaching journey led her to the Cedar Park Celebrities, where she served as a student teacher, and the Klein Collins Tiger Belles, where she worked as a long-term dance substitute. She is now thrilled to serve as the Assistant Director of the Weiss High School Scarlets and the Head Director of the Crimsonettes.
When she is not teaching, Holly enjoys visiting Lake Travis, watching movies, and spending time with her fiancé and their two cats.
